Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage [MLD]
A gentle, flowing, rhythmic massage is used primarily to promote optimal functioning of the lymphatic vessels. It assists in the removal of metabolic waste, excess water, toxins and bacteria and helps to relax the sympathetic nervous system, reduces pain and enhances the activity of the immune system.
Please note I am not qualified to provide post operative Manual Lymphatic massage.
